The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Hamad Bin Khalifa University announces the launch of its new graduate program, the first of its kind in the region, the Master of Arts in Translation for the Creative Industries, offered by the Department of Language, Culture, and Communication.

This program is the first of its kind in the MENA region. It is designed to advance the skills needed in today’s global creative markets, merging the art of translation with the evolving demands of the creative industries, such as in media, entertainment, publishing, tourism, and the arts.

The launch event celebrates inclusion and creativity in translation. Featuring a keynote address from the world-renowned accessibility expert, Dr. Josélia Neves and an exhibition of innovative projects, this event will showcase firsthand how translation bridges gaps and fosters inclusivity.
