NGOs are reliant upon donations to operate, as such, it is rare that they should reject donations when they are presented. However, recent research exposes instances in which NGOs refuse funding. This panel will engage with said research and launch a database of relevant cases. It will also showcase a typology that was developed to classify and compare instances of refusal and their justifications, based on humanitarian principles such as independence, impartiality, neutrality, and humanity.
