Islam and Indian Religions: Selected Writings of Sayyid Manāzir Ahsan Gīlānī

25Nov2018

The religious and intellectual landscape of nineteenth- and twentieth-century Indian subcontinent has given birth to possibly some of the most extraordinary minds of her history. One such figure, among the Muslims of the subcontinent was the brilliant historian Sayyid Manāzir Ahsan Gīlānī (d 1956). His ideas about religions in particular merit attention and through this project, we would make an endeavor to translate selected works of Gīlānī into English and introduce his thought.
