College of Health and Life Sciences Highlights Graduate Degree Programs at Virtual Information Session
Faculty members and staff of the College of Health and Life Sciences (CHLS) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) welcomed prospective students at a Virtual Graduate Studies Information Session on February 8. The event was open to the public and attracted participants from Qatar, across the region, and further afield. Dr. Edward Stuenkel, founding dean of CHLS, and faculty members were on hand to present an in-depth overview of the research-intensive Master of Science and PhD programs in biomedical sciences, genomics, precision medicine, and exercise science offered by the college. The session highlighted both the curriculum with its multidisciplinary learning approach and the pathways for students to participate in high-impact research in important, health-related fields once enrolled in a graduate program at CHLS. Amid strong interest from those in attendance, the HBKU admissions team highlighted application requirements and relevant deadlines.
The deadline for Qatari nationals and residents who wish to apply to HBKU’s wide-ranging programs is March 15, 2021.
