CSE Information Session Draws Prospective Students
The College of Science and Engineering (CSE) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) held an on-campus information session for prospective students on February 23. Dr. Mounir Hamdi, CSE Founding Dean - and faculty - presented an overview of CSE’s 13 specialized graduate and undergraduate programs in high-demand fields such as information and computing technology, energy and environment, sustainable development, and engineering management and decision sciences. Presentations highlighted the different ways in which the college applies innovative technologies in its classrooms and state-of-the-art research labs. Faculty members responded to questions on the curriculum and research opportunities open to students through CSE’s world-ranked academic and research programs. The HBKU admissions team was also present to discuss the program application requirements with attendees. The deadline to apply to one of HBKU’s interdisciplinary programmes is March 15.
