Protecting the Family in Light of Contemporary Challenges
College of Islamic Studies

The family, being the basic foundation of society, faces many social, economic, cultural, and legal challenges in light of the current technological openness and advancement.

This lecture series titled ‘Protecting the Family in Light of Contemporary Challenges’ will shed light on the mechanisms of family self-protection through sociology, Islamic legislations, Qatari law and its judicial implementation. The lectures will also explore public social policy in the context of promoting knowledge.

Discussions will be held in Arabic.
