Students from all six HBKU colleges presented their work under the theme, “Advancing Sustainable Development Goals in Interdisciplinary Research”
Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) organized the annual HBKU Student Research Conference on March 16, 2023, inviting students from all six of its colleges to present their research to the Qatari community.
Held under the theme, “Advancing Sustainable Development Goals in Interdisciplinary Research,” the Student Research Conference featured students presenting their research to the HBKU community, including students, faculty, and staff, as well as visitors from around Qatar.
The Conference is an annual event held by HBKU to provide a platform from which students can exchange ideas, network with one another, and foster greater collaboration within the university community. It also challenged students to showcase their research capabilities and hone their presentation skills within a formal conference setting.
Featuring student work from HBKU’s College of Islamic Studies, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Science and Engineering, College of Law, College of Health and Life Sciences, and College of Public Policy, the event provided ample opportunity for the wider Qatari community and prospective students to sample the research regularly conducted by HBKU’s students.
Dr. Ala Al Fuqaha, Associate Provost for Teaching and Learning, provided certificates of presentation to the students who participated in this event.
