Join a series of lectures presented by the College of Islamic Studies on Abu Al-Fath Al-Shahrastani’s book “Al-Milal wa Al-Nihal” (The Book of Sects and Creeds). This book is considered a canonical text on the classification and objective study of religions and is characterized by the unique methodology and mechanism of classification. The lectures will demonstrate this uniqueness, placing it in the historical context of studying religious phenomena, understanding others, and religious and cultural dialogue strategies based on shared human values.

This lecture series will be presented by Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Zain, a professor at CIS. Lectures will take place every Wednesday, commencing at the start of the Fall 2024 semester until its end.
