This vital question will be explored in a special lecture as part of the College of Islamic Studies’ newest program, the MA in Counseling Psychology, rooted in Islamic thought.
In this lecture, Dr. Abdallah Rothman will examine the necessary training and cultural competencies required for mental health professionals to deliver truly compassionate and effective care. The focus will be on the increasingly critical mental health needs of diverse Muslim communities, both regionally and globally.
