Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) Library was formerly the library for the Faculty of Islamic Studies at Qatar Foundation. As of 2015, it has become the university library of HBKU. The expansive reading areas in the HBKU Library provide a calm ambiance for visitors to focus, study, and work.

The HBKU Library collection consists of around 50,000 thousand print books and is constantly growing, in support of HBKU’s educational and research goals.
The library provides access to more than 260 databases, 250,000 e-books, and 50,000 e-journals. The collection also contains CD-ROM, DVDs, and archival material pertinent to the HBKU community.

  • 8 group-study rooms (4 to 8 users) and 8 one-person pods
  • 38 individual study spaces with 24 computers
