Biography
Steven Wright is an associate dean for academic affairs and an associate professor of international relations in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Hamad bin Khalifa University (HBKU). He is also a research associate at HBKU’s Global Institute for Strategic Research (GISR). His research expertise includes global politics, political economy, and global geopolitics.
Dr. Wright has been a keynote speaker at events hosted by organizations such as the World Bank and NATO. He has worked as a consultant and in advisory roles with various governments and multinational corporations. His perspectives on global affairs have been featured in leading international media outlets, including Bloomberg, CGTN, The Economist, Financial Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
