College of Law
The midstream sector of the oil and gas industry plays a crucial role in the safe transportation and storage of petroleum products to domestic and global energy markets. Maritime practitioners and lawyers are tasked with identifying and managing regulatory, compliance and environmental risks faced by vessel owners, charterers, shippers, offshore oilfield and marine service contractors, project developers, terminal operators, and public port authorities in the maritime energy industry.
This colloquium explores how legal risks are allocated and managed among the various stakeholders in the ever-complex maritime energy sector value chain.
