Visit by the Attorney General of the State of Montana

On October 31, 2018, the Attorney General of the State of Montana, Honorable Tim Fox, visited HBKU College of Law & Public Policy (CLPP) and spoke to CLPP faculty and students about 'The Role of the State Attorney General in the US Legal System'. His remarks shed important insights into the US federal system. He also presented a strong case for improving civility in today's discourse. Commenting on the visit, Susan L. Karamanian, Dean of CLPP, said, "We were fortunate to have Attorney General Fox with us and to learn about the significance of a state, such as Montana, under the US Constitution and to understand the practical significance of its role in governance. The highlight of his address was his focus on how we as individuals can help improve society by listening to and respecting each other. This was a lesson that resonated with all of those in attendance."
