Mariana Costa Folena is a Corrosion Researcher at QEERI’s Corrosion Center with expertise in CO2 corrosion, corrosion inhibitors, and hydrogen embrittlement, and a background in mechanical and metallurgical engineering focusing on material degradation and environment-assisted cracking. Mariana has also developed an image processing methodology for fractographic analysis and a screening technique for residual analysis of corrosion inhibitors.
