The humanitarian crisis in Gaza presents unique challenges to aid and journalism organizations, with urgent implications for the region and the world. In response, the College of Islamic Studies (CIS) is organizing a forum highlighting the complexities of Gaza’s current situation and emphasizing the organizations’ efforts and their need for international support.
Key organizations in the field will present lectures, seminars, exhibitions, and film screenings with the participation of prominent political figures and journalists who witnessed the war on Gaza firsthand and documented the reality to the world.
The event is part of the College of Islamic Studies’ efforts to enhance the understanding of human rights, the role of media in wars and disasters, and the challenges relief organizations face as well as relevant international laws.
The event will be held in Arabic with live English interpretation.
