The Summer Research Program (SRP) at Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI) offers intensive training opportunities in specific fields of biomedical research to exceptional undergraduate students over the summer.
The program will run from May 18 to July 10, 2025, from 08:30 to 15:30.
Eligibility
To be considered for the program, the applicant must:
- Hold a Qatari residence permit.
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate program in biological/medical-related science.
- Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0.

- Mechanisms of transcription factors involved in pluripotency and β cell development
- Investigation of the role of Long-non-coding RNAs in the protective effect of GLP1 Receptor agonists on hepatic steatosis in vitro
- Role of MAFB in the maturation and functionality of induced human pluripotent stem cell-derived pancreatic β cells
