The Creative Space Summer Camp 2023 is an exciting opportunity for children aged 5 to 15 years old to embark on a journey of creativity and cognitive development.
This year, our camp will take place from August 6 to August 17, providing an enriching experience for young minds during the summer break.
Our camp offers six captivating programs, meticulously crafted to cater to diverse interests and age groups. With a range of activities and workshops, children will have the chance to engage in various activities geared towards teaching coding, electronics, and computational thinking, and foster creativity, innovation, problem solving and teamwork.

The courses will be as follow:
Introduction to Mobile App Development
Students aged 9 to 12 years old will learn how to build fully functional apps for smartphones and tablets using App Inventor. The App Inventor is a block-based programming environment that facilitates the creation of complex, high-impact apps in significantly less time than the traditional programming environments.

Exploring Micro:Bit
Students from 9 to 12 years old will learn how to program electronics using the BBC micro:bit, a microprocessor designed specifically to teach programming through physical computing.

Movie Making
Students aged 12 to 15 years old will learn how to create movies using their phones or tablets. They will learn the basic theoretical and practical aspects of movie making including story boarding, scripting, shooting and editing.

Exploring Robotics with Wedo 2.0
Students aged 5 to 8 years old will learn the basics of robotics building and programming using Lego's Wedo 2.0. They will discover how engineering and programming work together to make exciting creations.

3D Modelling and Laser cutting
Students aged 12 to 15 years old will learn the basics of 3D designing and how to use TinkerCAD, an online 3D design tool to imagine, create and make 3D digital models. They will make everything from name tags، pen containers and personalized figures. Later, they will take home a printed object of their own design.
