Water scarcity is one of the most urgent environmental concerns in the world today. This webinar will explore the critical aspects of water management in Qatar and the role of individuals in creating sustainable futures. It will be divided into three sessions:

  • How Water is Produced in Qatar: Understanding Environmental Impacts
    This session will explain the water production process in Qatar, including desalination and its environmental implications. It will examine the challenges and effects of these methods on the country’s natural resources and ecosystem.
  • Innovative Water Conservation Measures: Tools and Techniques
    This session will introduce the latest household devices and technologies designed to reduce water consumption in a home. It will explore practical solutions and the impact they can have on water usage.
    The session will also discuss the practice of separating wastewater and using treated sewage effluent (TSE) water for different purposes such as human consumption, irrigation, or district cooling.
  • Empowering Individual Action: Your Role in a Sustainable Water Future
    This session will explore how everyday individual actions can make a difference. It will discuss strategies for effective water use at home, engaging with local initiatives like those from Kahramaa, and ways to influence positive change in the community.
    This webinar aims to empower water-wise advocates for the environment, by providing the knowledge and tools needed for them to shape a sustainable future for Qatar.
