Religion and the State in Muslim America | HBKU
College of Islamic Studies

Since the end of the cold war, Islam has played an increasingly prominent role in how the relation between the state and religion is negotiated in US politics.

This lecture places contemporary polemics around Islam within the larger historical context of the politics of religion in the U.S.

Dr. Kambiz Ghanea Bassiri: Professor of Religion and Humanities, Reed College.

The lecture will be delivered in English.
