Dr. Darren Delai Sun

Dr. Darren obtained his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of New South Wales, Australia in 1993. His recent research interests include  environmental applications and implication of nanomaterials, membrane separation for desalination, water reclamation and water quality control, engineered hybrid membrane for sustainable production of water and energy.

Darren has published more than 250 scientific publications on various prestigious journals with high impact (Citation 11678 and h-index 55).

Darren was appointed as an environmental expert by the United Nation Environmental Programme (UNEP) to visit North Korea in 2012. He is the recognized technical advisor for Singapore’s NEWater Plant and heavily involved in technical support for Singapore’s water reclamation programme.
