Dr. Logan Cochrane, associate professor at the College of Public Policy (CPP), was invited to speak on food security in the Global Friday Speakers Series at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), Canada on September 17. His online lecture presented his research on the progress, challenges, and future options for food security, with a focus on Ethiopia.

The event also highlighted Dr. Cochrane’s new book, ‘Ethiopia and Food Security: What We Know, How We Know It, and Future Options’, which was published earlier in September, and is available here. He was recently appointed as an expert in the UN OSAA Knowledge Network, where he is leading activities relating to food security.
