HBKU Student Affairs Partners with Innovation Café to Deliver a Personal Branding Workshop

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) Student Affairs, in collaboration with Innovation Café, presented “Personal Identity Workshop: You Are a Brand” on October 25. The online class highlighted the importance of building a personal identity that is visible to others. Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Innovation Café, Mr. Ramzan Rashid Al-Naimi, presented the participants with his practical insights on how to start thinking about their personal brand. Considered one of the most prominent corporate identity specialists in Qatar, Mr. Al-Naimi is also a creative director at Al Jazeera Media Network.

The workshop was designed around several relevant themes for building a successful personal identity. These included 10 steps to building your personality, self-marketing, and maintaining your personal identity. Mr. Al-Naimi discussed practical steps for participants to start building and communicating - both online and offline - who they are, what they do, as well as their core strengths and skills, all with the aim of reflecting a strong personal brand.

The initiative by HBKU Student Affairs supports the academic mission of the university to develop skills and competencies through diverse educational and social learning opportunities. HBKU community classes provide members of the public with an enriching experience that expands their horizons intellectually, culturally, and personally.
