College of Law Professor Speaks on Regulating the Electricity Market at International Workshop

Dr. Damilola S. Olawuyi chaired a roundtable at the Electricity Market Design Workshop in May 2019 which was held in Cape Town, South Africa. The workshop was part of a two-year collaborative project sponsored by the Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education. The workshop brought together leading experts, government officials, and industry stakeholders to discuss issues around electricity market design and power sector reform. Dr. Olawuyi spoke on the opportunities and legal frameworks for strengthening regulatory collaboration and infrastructure investments in electricity markets in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
