Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) will be hosting a series of information sessions across its colleges, from December 11 to 14. The Graduate Information Sessions will provide a platform for dialogue and interaction between prospective students and HBKU’s faculty and admissions staff.
Scheduled to be held before the upcoming 2017 application deadline, the sessions are designed to allow prospective students to ask questions and get clarifications about the curriculum, research opportunities, admission process, and requirements for their program of choice, and better equip them in making the right decision.
Nasser Al Binali, Head of Admissions at HBKU, noted: “Our Graduate Information Sessions are the perfect opportunity for prospective students to ask detailed questions about the various graduate programs offered at HBKU. It is a one-stop-shop to help them gather all the extra information they need to make an informed decision on pursuing their higher education at HBKU. We have arranged for attendees to engage with faculty and staff from each college so that they can receive the best guidance possible before submitting an application.”
HBKU’s College of Islamic Studies will be hosting their information session on the MA in Islamic Studies and MS in Islamic Finance on December 11 at the college building. The College of Humanities and Social Sciences information session will take place at the Liberal Arts and Sciences building on December 12, and will focus on their MA programsin Translation Studies and Audiovisual Translation.
The College of Science and Engineering (CSE), and the College of Law and Public Policy (CLPP) will host their sessions at the HBKU Student Center on December 13 and 14 respectively. CSE representatives will be open to detailed queries on their PhD program in Computer Science and Engineering, MS and PhD in Sustainable Energy, MS and PhD in Sustainable Environment, MS and PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences, MS in Cybersecurity, and MS in Data Science and Engineering. CLPP will be covering their JD law program.
