QF’s Hamad Bin Khalifa University Set to Engage Education Sector at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2021

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) will play a key role in Qatar’s participation at the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2021 in Russia from June 2-5, reflecting the university’s continued commitment to cultivate and foster positive cooperation with the Russian Federation across all sectors of common and global interest. 

HBKU president, faculty, senior management, and graduate students, will join the official delegation representing Qatar, the guest country of this year’s SPIEF. As a member of Qatar Foundation (QF), with a mandate to build and cultivate human capacity, HBKU will showcase its multidisciplinary academic programs, the capabilities of its three research institutes, and the enriching academic experience it offers, in an interactive booth at the Qatar Pavilion. 

HBKU is expected to continue its past engagements and expand its cooperation with leading Russian universities and entities during SPIEF. The university will be signing several new mutually beneficial research and educational partnerships that will serve to enhance its teaching and research environment. 

HBKU will also actively participate in the SPIEF program, highlighting its expertise and leadership as an innovation-centric university shaping novel solutions through numerous panel discussions. 

In line with SPIEF’s global economic mission, HBKU is preparing youth with the skills and knowledge to contribute to the world economy. The presence of HBKU’s graduate students demonstrates the university’s commitment to nurturing leadership skills and actively enabling human potential to deliver on key national priorities.
