Dr Faleh Mohamed Husain Ali
Supreme Council of Health, QatarProfile: Dr Faleh Mohamed Hussain Ali is Assistant Secretary General for Policy Affairs of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) of Qatar. He leads the SCH Directorate General for Policy Affairs, one of three SCH Directorates. The departments reporting to him are Health Planning and Assessment, Health Financing and Insurance, IT and E‐Health Strategy, Medical Licensing, Quality Management, Medical Research, the National Health Strategy 2011‐2016 Project Management Office. He is a Visiting Lecturer at Imperial College London, where he lectures Masters of Science Degree students in Health Policy. Prior to turning to administration about ten years ago, Dr Faleh worked as an orthopedic surgeon and an emergency physician. He graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, in 1993. Furthermore, Dr Faleh holds a Master of Science Degree in Health Management from the Tanaka Business School, Imperial College London.
