Eng. Soud Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi
Vice President of OperationsEngineer Soud Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi is Vice President of Operations at Hamad Bin Khalifa University. In his previous role as Executive Director of the Project Management Office at HBKU, Engineer Al-Tamimi was responsible for formulating the strategic direction of HBKU and in initiating its various administrative functions. In addition, he participated in negotiations with academic partners.
Engineer Al-Tamimi came to Qatar Foundation in 2008 as Manager of Strategic Planning and Evaluation. In that capacity he supervised the elaboration of strategic plans for QF centers and schools, and served in several significant national and international committees, including the working committee for the National Development Strategy for Education. He has also been involved in UNESCO educational projects of importance to Qatar and the region.
Engineer Al-Tamimi holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio (USA) and has completed the EMBA program at HEC Paris in Qatar. He is also a graduate of the program of Leadership Development at Harvard Business School (USA) and the Scenario Planning Program at Oxford University (UK).
