
Eng. Soud Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi
Vice President of Audit, Risk, and ComplianceEng. Soud Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi has been appointed Vice President of Audit, Risk, and Compliance at Hamad Bin Khalifa University in February 2025. In his previous role as Vice President of Operations, Eng. Al-Tamimi played a pivotal role in establishing operational functions within the university and restructured essential committees at both the foundation and university levels over his 11-year tenure. Earlier, he served as the Executive Director of the Project Management Office at HBKU, where he significantly contributed to shaping the strategic direction and administrative functions of the university.
Al-Tamimi joined Qatar Foundation in 2008 as Manager of Strategic Planning and Evaluation. In that capacity, he supervised the elaboration of strategic plans for QF centers and schools and served in several significant national and international committees, including the working committee for the National Development Strategy for Education. He has also been involved in UNESCO educational projects of significance to Qatar and the region.
Eng. Al-Tamimi holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio in the USA and has completed the EMBA program at HEC Paris, Doha. He also graduated from the Leadership Development program at Harvard Business School in the USA and the Scenario Planning Program at Oxford University in the UK.
