Hamad Bin Khalifa University Strategic Plan includes four institutional pillars, one of which is Partners, a pillar that is vital for the development of HBKU. Our partnerships strive to promote growth, transfer, and application of knowledge, and deliver excellence as a major contribution through the university. By pulling together academic and research collaborations as well as the exchange of knowledge between the university, industry, and society, we enhance our commitment to excellence and enrich our faculty, researchers, and students' experience via the establishment of new partnership arrangements or link agreements.

Over the years, HBKU has developed several multi-faceted partnerships with prestigious universities abroad. With some institutions, we have dual and double degrees as well as faculty mobility schemes; with others, we have developed unique opportunities for our undergraduate and graduate students.
