As Associate Provost for Administrative Affairs, Aisha Al-Romaihi provides leadership, strategic & budget management, and academic operations & planning. Reporting directly to the Provost, and as a member of their leadership team, Aisha serves as the principal administrative and financial executive for the Office of the Provost. This position provides leadership for overall administrative and fiscal planning and institutional resource management.
Prior to assuming her current position, Aisha served various government/non-profit organizations including the Qatar Foundation and Ministry of Health of the State of Qatar. With more than 18 years of experience, she held various executive and leadership roles tasked with establishing and developing strategic initiatives and projects within the organization that include but not limited to managing national/international institutions, strategic stakeholders, financial, as well as quality management and operational excellence.
Aisha has served in various boards and committees including AMLAK Board, and the GTC within Qatar Foundation. In addition, she has served as temporary Advisor to the WHO (MENA Region) on several occasions as part of her role in the Ministry of Health.
Aisha holds a bachelor’s degree, with Honors, from Trinity College Dublin, and received her Executive MBA from HEC with distinction.
