Biography

Dr. Yildirim earned his PhD in Sustainable Bioproducts from the University of Maine, and is a graduate of the University of Maine Innovation Engineering Program. In 2014, he co-founded Revolution Research Inc. and received grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and some other US-based competitive agencies. In 2017, Dr. Yildirim started working as the founding General Manager of Bursa Technical University Technology Transfer Office Inc. (Bursatto) and worked as an Associate Professor of Sustainable Bioproducts for three years at the Bursa Technical University. Dr. Yildirim moved to Qatar in 2021 and has been working as the Executive Director of Innovation at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) since then.

Dr. Yildirim leads the design, development, and implementation of game-changer strategies to foster sustainable corporate innovation through design and development of meaningfully unique and value-added collaborations.
