Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI), part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), is a national research institute tasked with supporting Qatar in addressing its grand challenges related to energy, water, and environment.
QEERI as an educational and RDI stakeholder, actively leverages common interests through partnerships and collaborations with top-tier local and international partners, building expertise research capacity in Qatar.

I joined QEERI in 2017 and my research focuses on the transformation of CO2 for climate change mitigation. What makes QEERI unique, is the combination of multicultural workforce and state-of-the-art facilities. I believe this research institute has the potential to make a lasting impact on the applied research landscape in the MENA region and beyond.
