This roundtable will involve discussions on the fundamentals of shariah governance; a broad survey of shariah governance practices around the world; a detailed examination of case studies of shariah governance practices, as well as critical analyses of the current practice of shariah governance in Islamic finance. Participating in the discussions will be Islamic finance and shariah scholars, academics, practitioners from banking and non-banking institutions, policymakers, as well as representatives from international standard-setting agencies.
Attendance is by invitation only. The event will be conducted in English.
