Autism and the Law

This roundtable brings together legal, scientific, and policy experts to examine the legal aspects of diagnosing and treating autistic individuals in Qatar. It will identify critical gaps in the existing landscape, and propose reforms to address them. It will also look into the role of technology, namely artificial intelligence (AI), and its role in diagnosis and treatment.

Promising interdisciplinary and comparative insights, this roundtable will look at jurisdictions outside of Qatar, with a particular focus on the United States where substantial advances have been made to improve the quality of life of those with autism.
