Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development (QF), and Siemens have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide scholarships for exceptional students who are majoring in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration, computer science, and information systems.
At a signing ceremony which took place at the HBKU Student Center, Dr. Ahmad Hasnah, President of HBKU, and Fatih Sakiz, CEO of Siemens in Qatar signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Also in attendance was senior management from both organizations.
Siemens is a global technology powerhouse that has stood for engineering excellence, innovation, quality, reliability and internationality for more than 165 years. By holding the ceremony, HBKU was recognizing the generous support being offered by Siemens in Qatar to its own students as well as to students from its partner universities across Education City.
