Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI), part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University, has been awarded the certification for its Integrated Management System (IMS) under the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards. The achievement follows an extensive auditing process done by Intertek, a Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide.

شاركت شركة التكنولوجيا الحيوية "بيونتيك"، المملوكة لزوجين ألمانيَين من أصلٍ تركي هما الدكتور أوغور شاهين وأوزليم توريتشي، بعض الأخبار الواعدة مع شركة فايزر في أعقاب السباق الأكثر احتدامًا في العالم على التوصل للقاح للتحصين ضد فيروس كوفيد-19. وأدت النتائج الأولية، التي يحتمل أن تكون حاسمة، لتجربة لقاح "إم آر إن إيه" المقاوم للفيروس إلى ظهور بارقة أمل بين عامة الناس. فقد رحب قطاعا الضيافة والسفر بهذا التقدم الملحوظ. وفي حال نجاحه، فسيكون هذا هو أول لقاح في العالم يحتوي على جزء من الحمض النووي الريبوزي المرسال للفيروس.

The preliminary but potentially conclusive results of the trial of the mRNA vaccine against COVID-19 has led to flickers of hope among common people. The hospitality and travel sectors have cheered this breakthrough. If successful, this will be the world’s first-ever mRNA vaccine.

أنهت جامعة حمد بن خليفة استعداداتها لعقد اللقاء المفتوح لطلبة الدراسات العليا عبر الإنترنت للمرة الأولى في تاريخها. ويقدم هذا اللقاء، الذي يُعدُ أكبر حدث لاستقطاب الطلاب في الجامعة، معلومات مهمة للأشخاص المهتمين بتقديم طلبات للالتحاق ببرامج الماجستير أو الدكتوراه التي تطرحها الجامعة للعام الدراسي 2020-2021.

Preparations are underway for Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) first virtual Graduate Studies Open House. The university’s largest student recruitment event provides key information for those interested in applying to HBKU’s Master’s or PhD programs offered for the academic year 2021-2022.

Taking place between November 22 and 30, the Graduate Studies Open House is a chance to learn more about academic programs, research opportunities, admissions, and campus activities.
