CPP Professor’s Article on a Premier Journal’s Top-Cited List

An article authored by Dr. Kim Moloney, Assistant Professor at the College of Public Policy (CPP), and published in “Public Administration Review” (PAR), has been included in its Researcher’s Choice: Top-Cited Articles from 2020 and 2021.

Titled “Australian Quarantine Policy: From Centralization to Coordination with Mid-Pandemic COVID-19 Shifts”, the 2020 article uses concepts within policy and administrative studies and a purposeful broadening of Australia's quarantine policy history (from a narrow COVID-focused analysis) to a historical exercise.

The inclusion of Dr. Moloney’s paper on the list is a significant accomplishment. According to Google Scholar, PAR has been the second-ranked journal in the world for public administration for 80 years. It is the only journal in public administration serving both academics and practitioners interested in the public sector and its management. The full article can be accessed here
