MPP Student Represents HBKU as Global Security Forum Rapporteur
Master of Public Policy (MPP) student Marwen Hjiri participated as a rapporteur at the fourth annual Global Security Forum organized by the Soufan Center, in partnership with HBKU.
The international forum was an opportunity for Hjiri to represent the College of Public Policy and HBKU, while learning about the global and regional policy landscape, particularly trending topics related to existing and emerging threats. As government leaders, stakeholders, and foremost academics engaged in critical dialogue, his role allowed him to put into practice the various analytical skills and solid core of theoretical knowledge gained through the MPP’s interdisciplinary curriculum.
The 2021 Global Security Forum addressed the theme ‘Cooperation or Competition? Changing Dynamics of Global Security.’ The official conference report has been published here.
