تواصل جامعة حمد بن خليفة استعداداتها لاستضافة المؤتمر الدولي الأول للتصور والتفاعل بين الإنسان والحاسوب. ويجمع المؤتمر، الذي يشترك في تنظيمه معهد قطر لبحوث الحوسبة وكلية العلوم والهندسة التابعين لجامعة حمد بن خليفة، ما بين خبراء ومستخدمين للبيانات العلمية وتكنولوجيا التصور، بالإضافة إلى تكنولوجيا التفاعل بين الإنسان والحاسوب.

Preparations are well underway for Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) 1st International Conference on Visualization and Computer-Human Interaction (VisCHI). Co-organized by Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI) and the College of Science and Engineering (CSE), the event brings together experts and users of scientific and data visualization, as well as computer-human interaction technologies.

أصدر معهد قطر لبحوث الطب الحيوي، التابع لجامعة حمد بن خليفة، نتائج دراسته المكثفة التي استمرت لمدة ست سنوات حول انتشار اضطراب طيف التوحد في قطر، وهي الدراسة الأولى من نوعها التي تُجرى في قطر ومنطقة الخليج.
وأجرى مركز بحوث الاضطرابات العصبية التابع للمعهد، الذي يركز على دراسة الانتشار المتزايد للاضطرابات العصبية في قطر والمنطقة، بما في ذلك حالات اضطراب طيف التوحد، هذه الدراسة المهمة.
Results of groundbreaking study provides crucial data for adequate healthcare planning
Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI), part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), has released the results of its intensive six-year study on the Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder in Qatar – the first of its kind to be conducted in Qatar and the Gulf region.
The study was carried out by QBRI’s Neurological Disorders Research Center (NDRC), which focuses on investigating the increasing prevalence of neurological disorders in Qatar and the region, including conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Students from 43 countries honored across many disciplines.
Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), a member of Qatar Foundation, celebrated the graduation of its Class of 2019 during a ceremony held at Qatar National Convention Centre on Saturday, May 4, attended by Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation, and Chairperson of HBKU’s Board of Trustees.
